Gauteng Getaway Show 2017

If you're an outdoor and travelling enthusiast, don't miss out on the annual Gauteng Getaway Show which makes its return to the Ticketpro Dome from 23-25 September 2017.

Now in its 8th year running, this year's edition promises to be the biggest yet, showcasing over 400 exhibits, including outdoor gear, 4x4 products and accessories, motorhomes and caravans, trailers and adventure operators.

Attendees will not only have the opportunity to purchase camping kit and outdoor equipment but will also be inspired to plan their next upcoming vacations, with Getaway's tips on the best South African holiday destinations.

There will be lots of family-friendly activities to participate in. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy a bit of slacklining or abseil at the new adventure area. If you're not that much of a thrill seeker, enjoy the local cuisine, fine wines and craft beers at the 'Travel and Taste Theatre'. Alternatively, vino aficionados can stock up on their favourites varietals or add to their collection at the 'Wine Village'. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing session, enjoy a cup of coffee at the 'Chill Zone'.

For the hungry, there are lots of food stalls with a wide spectrum of grub to choose from, while those in need of refreshments can make their way to the beer tent for an ice-cold brew.
